It’s not as hard to figure out as you think.

Spring is here, and many homeowners are busily making plans for long-awaited home improvement projects. In fact, you may be doing the same! Lists of supplies and materials litter kitchen counters and vehicle floorboards as people rush around gathering what they need for their renovations, remodeling, or decluttering projects. The excitement is palpable.

A task that’s often overlooked is that of cleanup once the project is finished. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of the vision and forget that the vision will likely be obscured by construction debris and piles of trash. All this has to be cleaned up before you can truly enjoy your new space. That’s where a roll-off dumpster rental from Small Haul enters the picture.

Taking the Stress Out of Kansas City Dumpster Rental

Small Haul Containers is the place to go for help when it’s time to clean up after a messy home project. We make the process easy by taking the stress out of the equation. Our online reservation process is quite simple and only takes a few minutes. When your rental period starts, we bring the dumpster to you, removing the need to pick it up yourself. Our clients love this service. The day they’re ready to start clearing out the trash, the dumpster shows up in the driveway. It’s like magic!

Choosing Wisely

One of the most frequently pondered questions when it comes to cleaning up any home project is, “What size dumpster do I need?” It’s an important question. Size does matter when you rent a dumpster. If you choose a container that’s way too big for your needs, you’ll be spending much more money than necessary. Since many home projects tend to have escalating price tags (in spite of your best efforts to keep costs under control), renting the right-sized dumpster for the job means you’re not paying any more than you budgeted for cleanup. Your budget appreciates that.

On the flip side, a roll-off dumpster rental that’s too small for the job will also cause issues. You might find yourself having to rent a second dumpster because you filled the first one up. That’s not cost-effective. Even worse, you could end up with a house or yard filled with leftover debris that wouldn’t fit in the dumpster. If it’s not disposed of promptly, it may get shoved into the garage or a corner of the yard, left to languish indefinitely. That’s not what you want!

The Right Container for the Job

Small Haul Containers has small dumpster rentals for virtually any project you’re taking on.

6 cubic yards (10’ x 4’ x 4’). This is our smallest container. It’s ideal for cleaning out the attic or decluttering a small garage. It also works well for bathroom remodels; it holds enough to do two bathrooms at once. This small dumpster rental can also handle debris from a small deck replacement or a roof or fence repair project. This dumpster holds up to one ton of waste.

10 cubic yards (10’ x 8’ x 3.5’). Our 10 cubic yard roll-off dumpster rental works well for a smaller kitchen remodel. It’s also ideal for combination projects, such as cleaning out the garage and basement, tearing out a bath and a small kitchen, or tearing out a fence and small deck. The maximum capacity for this container is one ton.

13 cubic yards (11’ x 8’ x 4’). Our 13 cubic yard dumpster is one of our most popular for Kansas City area homeowners. It’s suitable for all types of mid-sized home improvement projects. Thinking of remodeling the entire kitchen? This is the dumpster for you. It also works well for a large deck demolition, deconstructing a sizable fence, or cleaning out multiple rooms in the house. The weight limit for this container is two tons.

16 cubic yards (12’ x 8’ x 4.5’). This container is the perfect size for home projects covering multiple rooms. Multiple bathtubs, sinks, and showers can go in here, as can debris from a house fire or flood (hopefully not the kind of home project you’re working on). This dumpster holds two tons of trash.

20 cubic yards (14’ x 8’ x 5’). Our 20 cubic yard dumpster is our largest container. It’s the size that homeowners rent when they’re doing major remodeling projects, like adding a room or tearing off part of the house to rebuild. This container has a two-ton weight limit.

Yard waste containers. If you’re working on a landscaping job and have a considerable amount of dirt, grass, shrubbery, or other organic matter, you might want to rent one of our yard waste containers. Yard waste must be disposed of differently than regular household trash or construction debris. For this reason, it must be kept separate from everything else. Our yard waste containers are designed for this.
