Small Haul Containers is a family-owned dumpster and portable storage rental company based in Stilwell, KS 66085, serving Johnson County, KS and the greater Kansas City metro.

What You Give Us
When you submit our contact form or request a call back, we ask for:
- Your name and phone number, both required so we can respond
- Your email address, if you want a written reply or confirmation
- Your city or zip code, so we know whether you are inside our service area
- The type of project and the best time to reach you
- Anything else you choose to write in the message field
That is the whole list. We do not ask for payment details, date of birth, or any government identifier through this website.
If you call or text us instead, we keep whatever you tell us on that call in the same way, for the same purpose.
What Gets Collected Automatically
Two things, and we want to be precise about both:
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used: which pages get visited, how visitors arrive, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they use. We look at it to see which pages are useful, not to identify anyone.
- When you submit the contact form, your IP address is held in our server's memory for up to 24 hours. It is used for one thing: counting submissions, so a script cannot flood the form. It is not saved to a database, it is not attached to your enquiry, and it is gone when the server restarts.
That is the whole of it. This website keeps no log of the pages you visit and no record of your browser or device beyond what Google Analytics reports back to us.
We also do not ask your browser for your GPS location. The site blocks that permission outright, so no page here is able to request it.
Text Messages
If you give us your number, by asking for a call back, by texting us, or by booking, we may reply by text about that enquiry or rental. That is the consent: we do not text people who have not contacted us, and we do not buy or rent phone numbers.
How often depends entirely on your enquiry. There is no marketing list and no campaign, so there is no set frequency: a quote is usually a handful of messages, a booking a few more around delivery and pickup.
Reply STOP to any message to stop them, and HELP if you need help. Message and data rates may apply, which is between you and your carrier.
We do not sell or share your number for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell a returning visit from a new one and to measure how the site is used. That information goes to Google and is handled under Google's own privacy policy as well as this one.
We use Google Tag Manager to load these tags, and advertising tags may be added to it, so a cookie from Google's advertising products may be set on your visit.
Two embedded services may set their own cookies when you use them: the Google map on our contact page, and the TrashLab booking system when you open it.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and browser-level opt-outs for analytics work here the same as anywhere else. Blocking them will not stop you booking a dumpster.
How We Use What We Collect
- To answer your question, quote your project, and schedule delivery and pickup
- To contact you about a rental you have booked, including delivery timing and pickup
- To keep the website secure and working properly
- To meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations
We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If you would like written confirmation of that, or want to make a request about your information, call us and we will respond.
Who Else Sees It
We share information only with the services that make the business run, and only what each one needs:
- TrashLab, our booking and scheduling system. If you book online, your booking and payment details are handled by TrashLab under their privacy policy, not ours.
- Our email provider, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Our website host, which runs and protects the site.
- Google, through Google Analytics and through the map embedded on our contact page.
- Our accountant, insurer, or an attorney where a specific matter requires it, and law enforcement where we are legally required to respond.
How Long We Keep It
Form submissions arrive as email and stay in our inbox, so an enquiry lasts as long as that email does. Records tied to a completed rental are kept as long as our tax and insurance obligations require.
Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless it is something we are required to keep.

This is a business website for a rental service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
